The location of the hotel is convenient, just off the A803, with nice grounds around the side of the building. The rooms are beautifully decorated, creating a romantic atmosphere perfect for couples. The breakfast offers a variety of hot and cold options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful and rooms are in excellent condition. We had a meal in the Grill resturant and it was lovely again the staff very friendly and helpful.
Just couple of things we feel would add to your stay would be having tea/coffee making facilities in your room and also slightly later check- out as we were at a wedding in the hotel night before spending alot of money there and had a late night in the resident bar too but still had to be out the next morning at 10am even when requested a late check-out we got half an hour, not much really.

This is a quirky boutique hotel and the attention to detail is excellent, from the outside it seems like an unassuming 'mock' castle but inside was quite a surprise, not what we were expecting. The staff were great, the food was lovely and a few nice surprises thrown in (complimentary chocolate cake!) an excellent experience.
Breakfast is £15, didn't go for it as can't imagine that it could be worth it.

The hotel was quirky and characteristic, with a beautiful and stunning setting. The room was clean, comfortable, and delightfully decorated. The staff were friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful. Breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options available.

Location was great, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to transport. The staff was accommodating and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities.
The breakfast options were limited, and the quality of the food could have been better. The noise level from nearby construction was disruptive and made it difficult to sleep.

I had a fall using the steps down to the car park and I think there should be a handrail on these steps.

Great room and location. The staff was accommodating. The bathroom was clean with very good bath amenities and fluffy robes. We enjoyed the fact that we could order eggs any way we wanted them, and the breakfast buffet had a lot of choices that were tasty.
We would have liked more outdoor seating areas, especially for those sunny days. The decor and style of the hotel were a bit inconsistent and confusing.
